Where I End and You Begin

Last night my friend, Becca, and I were bored on break and hit up the round the clock diner. Good times. I've finally found someone outside of my family that enjoys the use of the word twiterpated as much as we do. If you're lost, watch bambi. Twiterpated is a very useful word for describing that senseless, young love, kind of feeling.

Today I put some work in on the garden show complex. Today was blues number for drums, bass, piano, and rhodes. It was fun and it's nice to have some piano skills. Enough to solo over a slow blues anyway. Then when you speed it up you sound really good. It snowed a lot all day long and dad came home early from school. I didn't really know that til he told me though because I slept in til 2. That makes 13 hours of sleep. That's what break's all about.

Tomorrow brings a possible visit from Sara, pending bad snow conditions, and a trip up to e-town for the night. We'll see.

It's been awhile since a post. Just to catch you up things are going well at school. I'm freakin' busy but I'm surviving. The end is near as far as graduating and that's kind of scary actually. Things are going really well with Wasting Reolution. We have promo pictures just finished. Opie shot them for us and some of them came out very well so thanks to Opie. we just got EP's back fom the duplicator so that's a lot of fun. 5 songs. We also have like 5 gigs coming up. I feel like we're a real band or something. It's kind of nice. The gigs are as follows:

Mar 10 2005 9:30P MJ's Coffee House Annville, PA

Mar 12 2005 10:00P Arnold Sports Center, LVC Annville, PA

Mar 13 2005 5:00P Crocodile Rock Allentown, PA

Mar 18 2005 7:00P Pansy Hill Coffee Company Lebanon, PA

Mar 19 2005 7:00P Leedy Theater, LVC Annville, PA

It'd be great if some of you could come out for one or two of them, maybe check out the new EP. The Croc Rock one will be expecially cool. I look forward to rocking out under their cool lights and with the system cranking again. So come out to allentown if you'd like.

Other than that, I'm home on spring break right now, even though there's snow on the ground. It'll be nice to have some time off from classes so I can get some work done. Yesterday was Sara and my 5 month anniversary. I guess that's of note. I'm here at Ben's for the night. Nice to hang out with him and be in York. Yesterday I went down to Ellicott city with Jordan. We had fun just chillin. Good times. Well, I'm off to bed. Night all.

So Sunday we (wasting revolution) played at Crock Rock in Allentown. You can check out the rest of the pics on Jordan's picture site at http://gallery.greatestjournal.com/thumbnails.php?album=102548 There's also some cool pictures of his turtle on there.

Since that night I haven't really had a good night's sleep and I'm actually sore from flailing around so. Also, I broke my glasses at the show so I wore my contacts yesterday and as with all other times I try to wear my contacts, My eyes are completely red and iritated now. So It's kind of been a rough day or two herephysically. But life is still good.

I'm enjoying my classes a lot. It's all a lot of work but I don't think it's too much. I guess we'll see. Film and the American Identity is particularly fun. Although the discussion in the class is a little frustrating to me. Some things in the class are very open to interpretation and people are so set on meanings and they think they're right. It kind of upsets me. Especially when a part of a film is meant to evoke a reaction from the viewer. When I'm the viewer, who are you to tell me what that meant? oh well. Also there's this kid in there who has some form of autism or something and it seems to be the cool thing to role one's eyes and get upset when he speaks. His comments are often a little off topic and he does interupt people a good bit but he's very intelligent and I enjoy what he has to say. I wish everyone else in our class had the patience to wait through some of his off topic comments for his insite.

Well, I'm off to the day. Off to soak up as much of the day as I can till I sink back into my bed and sleep off the saturation.
Let this space be filled with my thoughts, anecdotes, amusements, cognitions, introspection, musings, ruminations, poetry, stories, rambling, concerns, personal chronincles, and my feeble attempts at insight.
